Kayla Drifka is a first-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Training Program at UNL. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology, cognition, & neuroscience with a minor in quantitative methods in the social sciences. After graduating she worked as research coordinator at the University of Missouri in the department of psychology. Kayla’s research interests focus on the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive control, reward, and self-regulation, and how these processes contribute to health behaviors during adolescence and young adulthood. Her clinical training interests focus on pediatric neuropsychology.
