Graduate Students
Graduate and undergraduate students are an integral part of the DCN Lab. Graduate students are admitted to the Clinical Psychology Training Program (CPTP) and engage in research under the mentorship of Dr. Nelson. If you are a prospective graduate student interested in applying to the CPTP and you have questions about the DCN Lab, please email Dr. Nelson at tnelson3@unl.edu.
Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students are accepted as volunteer research assistants at the discretion of Dr. Nelson based on fit with the lab and current opportunities. Minimum time commitment is typically 4 hours per week, though certain lab projects may require more or less. Selection for volunteer positions is competitive and, unfortunately, we cannot accept all interested students. If you are interested in applying for a volunteer research assistantship in the DCN Lab, please contact Dr. Nelson or fill out the Undergraduate Research Assistant Application and send it to Tess Barnes at tess.barnes@unl.edu.
